Charity Mentors Oxfordshire offers free-of-charge, short-term, focused mentoring to the people who lead Oxfordshire’s not-for-profits. We know, from their feedback and our own impact evaluation, that this is a highly valued and well respected service. We want to make sure that as many organizations as possible get to hear about who we are and what we do, so that they too can take advantage of this amazing free service. We need someone to help us to spread the word.
We are looking for a freelance communications and marketing support person who can work on a flexible basis for an average of approx. 6 hours a week. The hourly rate would be negotiable (in the range of £10 – £15 an hour). Amongst the tasks that we require help with are: setting up and disseminating a regular newsletter, maintaining links with charities and infrastructure organisations, organizing events and enhancing our social media presence via LinkedIn, Twitter and our website. We are looking for someone who is familiar with Oxfordshire’s voluntary sector and who is able to work flexibly, from home, with access to a networked personal computer with Office software.
