Electrical Fire Safety Fund
Grants are available to support the delivery of project-based fire prevention initiatives in local communities across the UK. Funding is available for projects that focus on tackling the causes of electrically-related fires, as well as those that increase the public’s awareness of electrical safety and promote changes in behaviour that will lead to the safer use of electrical products and installations. Priority will be given to projects that seek to address the risks of fires associated with electrical products and appliances.
In 2018, preference will be given to projects that seek to address the risks of fires associated with electrical products and appliances and/or those that display an innovative and creative approach.
Types of projects could include:
Raising awareness activities (ie events and campaigns).
Product testing and replacement products.
Home safety activities/visits.
